Fern Whelan
Former Lioness, Liverpool, Everton and Brighton footballer Fern, is now an established pundit for Sky Sports. She is also the PFA’s first Women’s Football Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Executive.
Fern has become a regular face on Sky Sports coverage of the WSL, providing in depth analysis both in studio and pitch-side, and turned her hand to commentary with the BBC.
Alongside winning accolades such as FA Young Player of the Year and European Under-19’s Player of the Tournament, she has won the FA Cup, League Cup and competed in the Women’s Champions League.
Off the pitch, she is a qualified physiotherapist and a renowned public speaker, tackling topics about gender equality in elite sport.
