Joe Shennan

Joe is one of talkSPORT’s lead commentators across the Premier League, EFL, domestic and European Cup football, as well as lead Lionesses commentator.

He has covered 6 major tournaments for talkSPORT, and last year Joe was calling the big games in Germany at the Euro 2024 and then headlined to Paris for the Olympic Games.

Joe is also the lead Lionesses commentator for the talkSPORT network, and commentated on all 7 matches at Euro 2025 on site from Switzerland as the team made history by becoming the first England senior side to win a major tournament overseas. He was also commentator for England men's under 21's Euros title winning campaign.

Outside of radio, Joe has been commentator for Championship games on new channel Sky Sports Plus, and world feed Champions League and Europa Conference League for IMG and UEFA.

When not at talkSPORT or Sky, Joe works on the UEFA's Champions League world feed and during the summer, he's also a play-by-play commentator for the world radio feed of ATP Masters tennis events, including Wimbledon. Previous credits include BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Final Score.
