Mike Minay
Mike is an exciting new football commentator across the Premier League, EFL, WSL, FA Cup and Champions League. Mike is part of the BBC 5 Live commentary for this summer's FIFA World Cup.
Starting out in BBC local radio and progressing onto BBC Radio 5 Live for the last six years, Mike has called the last two all-Manchester finals of the FA Cup, and was previously named North West Football Journalist of the year. He also headed out to the US with DAZN as part of the commentary team for the Club World Cup 2025.
As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Mike is also a vocal advocate for more diversity in sport.
