Pien Meulensteen

Pien is one of the UK’s lead Premier League presenters at Sky Sports and she was one of four studio hosts for FOX Sports, covering the 2026 FIFA World Cup in The United States.

Pien has swapped the gantry for the studio having spent the last three years as a lead commentator on Sky Sports, ITV Sport and DAZN, calling games in the Premier League, The EFL, The FA Cup and The WSL as well both men’s and women’s World Cup’s and European Championships and is fast being recognised as one of the most knowledgeable, authentic and respected voices in football broadcasting.

After hosting EFL Goal Zone on Sky Sports during the 2024/25 season, as part of their Soccer Saturday output, Pien also went on to present Match Day Live on both the EFL and the WSL and made her Premier League debut as a presenter on Sky Sports’ Friday Night Football. For the 2025/26 season you will see Pien on your screens presenting and reporting across both men's and women's football on Sky Sports.

At just 28, Pien made history as the youngest and first ever female to call a live Premier League game on Sky Sports, which happened after her ITV debut at The Women’s World Cup in 2023. Born in the Netherlands, she is fluent in both Dutch and English, and has experience broadcasting in both languages whilst working for Dutch media.

Outside of her broadcast work, Pien is an established event host, working with brands like Mastercard, Enterprise, Soho House and more. She has also began working with major brands in the fitness, wellness, fashion and beauty space, like Lululemon, Boots, Canada Goose, Fuel10K to name but a few. Pien is a huge Padel fan, competing in the Pro Am Padel Celebrity Finals and is an ambassador for CUPRA cars who are the lead sponsor of several major Padel events.

After coming up the ranks through BBC, Pien's credits also include DAZN, PLP, IMG, BBC Radio 5Live, MUTV and CBS in America.
